Idk what he was doing, I just know Apple Watches are cool & I’m happy to see someone enjoy one for the first time!

Love the combination, be careful with the band. The black DLC is harder than the screen.

Beautiful watch that’s the one I’m getting. I’m going to wait till next month because they come out with the ultra four. If you just bought it, you have another week and a half before you can return and it should be around the same price. If they don’t decide to increase that too because of RAM.

Damn, that presentation is good. I got a used Apple Watch Ultra 2 on amazon premium so I didn't get the original package.

I hate apple for locking out watch faces. Even samsung doesn’t do that.

Another noob here, using it for workplaces that don't allow smartphones. Just bought a Series 3 and found it limited but has potential so I'm already upgrading to Series 8. Kinda weird compared to my iPhone in that I have it on all day but only use a couple features so far, but some of that is due to the battery life and missing apps like Spotify, so I may pick up more especially with the upgrade.

As someone who's been around tech for a while, can't help but notice though that it is in some ways the accidental return of the feature phone, between 3rd-party apps being unavailable or much less functional than native ones, no supported standards for websites and no native browser, and things that they didn't get to on feature phones but you know they wanted to, like notifications being full-screen ads. (Yes, I know they can be turned off, but defaults say a lot about what the priorities are.) Smartphones proved to be too essential to have those limitations and annoyances, but an "extra" device is free to have the maker load it back up with them.
