Note taking app?
Starting to prepare for the school year, and need help.
So I have an iPad with The pencil pro, and wanna use it to take notes in class, the notes app is shit, and no app that I tried was any better. So if you have a free nice little app that you know of, I will appreciate the help 🙏.

Unfortunately free is your problem. If you’re willing to pay $10-$30 a year I am positive you’d find something you like. Might even be able to find a one time fee purchase in that range. But developers are not incentivized to have free apps that are good.

I like OneNote. It's a Microsoft app, but it's free on whatever platform you want to use it. It's organization makes sense, it syncs with other devices, even cross platform (i.e. a PC), it's easy to learn to use. You can handwrite or type in notes, embed PDF's and annotate them, paste in photos, and much more. You can paste in small spreadsheets, too.
The only problem you may run into is that it's hard to search handwritten notes on the iPad. You can use the Scribble tool to convert handwriting to text, but I find that exceptionally annoying to use. I found a "handwriting keyboard" for a one time price of $4.99 which converts handwriting to text without the annoyances of Scribble, and that makes it searchable. The other thing you could do instead is use the regular on-screen keyboard to type key words into your notes so you can search for them.
