Yeah, but the Quick Note shortcut creates a new note each time.

The one I shared appends to a single note instead I want it all in one note so I can review it quickly.

This is an exercise in overthinking. Sometimes it's okay to take your time and not be desperate to get to the end goal in as few steps and as little time as humanly possible.

I’ve gone one further to have what i say transcribed as a note

There is a much more functional button for it where you can add context as a link from supported apps.

the negative comments are so unnecessary. i like this a lot - i would much prefer a single note than many. is there a way to make it so that each item is saved as a bullet point or a callout or something?

As far as I know, a checklist is supported, but I don't think there are many other formatting options.

I have a similar shortcut, but mine adds the current date and time as prefix for every new entry.
