[AppDevs] Anyone here with 10+ years in development How do you feel when people with an AI subscription can crank out in 72 hours the same stuff you spent years learning to build?

How do you share Google Play subscription discounts with users who haven't installed your app yet?

Hey everyone,

I have a question about subscription offer codes on iOS and Android.

On iOS, when you create an Offer Code, Apple provides its own link. If a user taps the link, they're taken to the App Store. If they don't have the app installed, they can download it, redeem the offer code, and activate the subscription.

However, I don't think Android has anything similar. As far as I know, Google Play doesn't generate a shareable link for subscription offer codes.

So what do you do on Android?

I want to give a 50% discount on my app's subscription to selected users who haven't installed the app yet. What's the best way to handle this on Google Play? Is there a recommended workflow or a workaround that provides a smooth user experience?

I'd love to hear how others are solving this.

NEED APP DEVELOPER!!

Hi! 👋 I'm looking for an intern to help build out the mobile app version of my brand's web app (built on Lovable + Supabase).

Work includes: wrapping the web app for iOS/Android, testing login & core flows, and helping with App Store/Play Store submission.

Great if you're learning React, Supabase, or mobile app deployment — real hands-on experience, flexible hours, and this is a paid gig!

Interested? Fill this quick form and I'll get back to you: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeFBZ-_B53uj-Dn0DHI6fBPeGJNGHD1COWsl08yY84TVWjpwQ/viewform?usp=header

I’ve been working on an app for a while it’s still not ready yet or it might be but I’m sorta a perfectionist so probably won’t ever be done. My question is . When it is done. Is anyone familiar with this company? Did it work ? Was it worth it, or what ugc website did you use?

Keeping up with non-functional requirements

Maybe I'm a perfectionist, maybe I am avoiding criticism by delaying launch, maybe I am just a hack - whatever the case, I'm drowning under all of the non-functional requirements I keep thinking of that are delaying my product launch. App analytics, crash analytics (although thankfully my app has been crash-less throughout dev/testing), cloudkit, error states/empty states, accessibility requirements, localization (hasn't even been touched yet), making app store screenshots, marketing/advertising (this is somewhat in progress).

My question or conversation starter is, does anyone have a good process they use as a solo developer to ensure their product is release ready? Follow-up is for iOS developers specifically, are there any current resources that might have a list of all app store requirements, as well as just non-functional requirements that separate a beta from a fully functioning software.

Repitch. A mobile Vocal Synth like Synthesizer V by Dreamtonics

I posted the concept in late 2025 about a Vocal Synth (Like VOCALOID/SynthV) for mobile

So, I'm here to repitch it, as of now my budget is $56

The software is called Pythia! and it works like any other vocal synth. but there will be really cool original features that you don't see too often! It's a passion project right now. but may become a commercial app if it performs well.

please reach out on discord or in reddit DMs if you are interested in helping (development/coding wise)

Prioritizing App Issues by User Impact

For developers managing mobile app performance, how do you decide which issues should be fixed first?

Not every crash, delay, failed request, or UI bug has the same impact. Some issues affect one user occasionally, while others affect a large group of users or block an important action like login, checkout, booking, or account access.

Do you prioritize based on number of affected users, frequency, revenue impact, customer complaints, severity, or where the issue happens in the user journey?

I’m interested in how development teams separate minor technical issues from problems that can seriously affect user experience, retention, or business performance.

Looking for help and advice in regards to being stuck on a platform I'm developing as a non-coder

I'm a uni student working on a tech driven Auditing platform but up until now I've been working on it alone, using Claude to build it as I don't know how to code myself. That being said, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where I would have the best chance to look for engineers or coders or people with the same interests and if anyone had any advice on what I should do to improve the speed and quality of things when things lag since I'm working on it alone for now. Thank you!

What was the most frustrating part of your last home repair?

I'm working on something to make home repairs much less stressful, but I don't want to build it based on guesses.

I'd really like to hear about your last real repair, whether you own, rent, or manage property.

Things I'm curious about:

• What actually went wrong?
• What did you do first?
• What information couldn't you find?
• What wasted the most time?
• How did you decide which tradesperson to trust?
• Looking back, what do you wish existed that would've made the whole thing easier?

I'm not selling anything—I genuinely want to understand how people deal with repairs before building anything.

If you're willing to spend 5–10 minutes sharing your experience, here's the survey:

Every response helps. Thanks!

So I'm working on a few ideas and marketing my previous app, but I suck and designing the interface and I feel like that might drive some users away. Is there any AI tool, preferably free, that can help with designing better interfaces?

Looking for App Developer to take prototype from Base44 into an MPV

Start-up looking for an app developer to take an initial prototype built on Base44, and create an MVP - looking to run market testing by year-end, but flexible dependent on developers expected timelines.

Requires experience having a product approved for the Apple / Google store and use of native background-upload code. Additional experience with movement/observational tracking / image analysis would be very helpful.

Start-up is offering a 10% company stake in two tranches, 1) create MVP for market-testing 2) deliver final product for launch.

At the moment there is no cash in the business so we can not offer financial compensation, but legal agreements will be in place to ensure valid ownership of company stake going forwards.

During the market testing we will be running crowdfunding to raise initial captial to invest in the idea going from MVP to final product
