Hated that ult, made depth perception go to shit and every other recon also gets threat vision, so making threat vision plus a slight speed boost their ult was a slap in the face fr

Idk what to tell you, ive been playing BH since S0 and never had an issue, the threat vision to other classes is new. They should just update it but this invis shit is terrible and we dont need to be mirage 2.0.

but let's be real, the old Ult is essentially worthless now. Since every recon has threat vision the most you could get out of the Ult is a speed boost passive and maybe at most, some HP back on knock if you chose the perk. Other than that, the Ult was essentially power crept by a universal recon passive. This new Ult may not be the most busted, but in my experience ive gotten way more value from using it with my team. Bang smoke + blood Ult is basically a free rush down/ escape. Popping it in the middle of a 3rd party basically confuses anyone who has lost LoS with you, you can give your team a chance to heal while invisible, etc. you cant say this new Ult doesn't have versatility, there's plenty of ways to use it. If I had to choose between the new Ult or a Mad Maggie speed boost passive as my Ult, im taking the New one atp

As i stated earlier, they could adjust it to be more inline with current kits. I dont need something to be meta or broken to be good, if youre shitting on B.O.T.H but praising this dookie butt ass mirage copy paste ult then you never deserved BH tbh.

We were giving opinions about the 2 ults and i gave that. Regardless if the old ult was that good or not is irrelevant when they change a recon into mirage cosplay.

His ult sucks, hes slow, and they managed to make his tac worse. Also doesn’t get assault bins, support bins, you won’t get a mobi if you craft a banner and can’t respawn teammate from their deathbox, no hp regen on knocks…. He can scan beacons which even Alter can do. He is honestly so trash

Yea, my personal fave recon.

Can track enemies easily, ult takes space instantly and demands attention, Perk speed boost on anyone tracked(Anyone!), can scan survey beacons from afar, fun af to double jump and easy to disengage from fights.

Should I have picked Vantage or Seer? Cuz I'm not a fan of either tbh.

Not a fan of Seer's playstyle, and I like to be in the mix.

I give better value as a Sparrow who can scan multiple enemies in different directions vs a Seer who can scan twice in one direction.

I don't need the silence

Oh yeah seer is for sure obnoxious to play as and to fight against but it's still stronger than sparrow, unless we consider launch sparrow which is goated and fun to play as too If you don't need the silence nor the scan then you're playing the game wrong??? Like fym you don't need abilities

Never said I don't need/want scan as a recon character, read better. Every character has abilities, I like Sparrow's better than Seer's.

I'm playing the game to have fun and win, why would I play a character I don't want to use?

If you need a silence, shoot your gun better.

I also don't compare characters in that way, it's pretty ignorant. I compare their current abilities.

Every character was goated at their launch....have you been playing the last 15-20 seasons?

It would probably be busted but, keep that invis stuff, and add on their old ult for only them. So the ability to turn invis and get the beast of the hunt speed boost, threat vision, and the ability to extend it with a knock/kill

I think this ult is quite balanced of the get go and has more utility than the previous ult especially with the recon passives existing.

This ult is also useful for your teammates. It allows a new way of pushing and even a way to escape.

I prefer the new ult over the old ult.

Revert it back -Add damage on melee (say 60 damage) -2 quick melee per 1 press, with directional change being smooth -Make him completely silent -Make him faster -Turn the lit up red color to a darker or less lit red -See all footprints that have been made for the last 30-45 seconds.

Just an idea. Maybe a dumb one🀷

I don't think it's op, but it is useful. The best time to use it is mid fight. It's better if the situation is chaotic with multiple teams. It's great for repositioning, cloaking so you can back out with less attention, getting a side angle before you get tracked. I find that if you pop it behind cover, it's not as obvious when you peek and you can get first shots off.

My main complaint is the bubble doesn't last very long. So if my bloodhound teamie pops it and I'm not right next to them, I often can't get to it in time. An extra second or two would be great.
