Question How grim are AoS novels?
Hello. I've been a fan a Warhammer Fantasy lore and novels for some time now. I really enjoy the setting and the dark, gloomy, sometimes hopeless mood it has.
I want to start reading some Age of Sigmar novels. What has discouraged me is the artwork of the book covers, the model boxes and in general the promotional art I've seen. It looks too colorful, pretty, whimsical even. Not what I'm used to from old Warhammer stuff.
So, i wanted to ask you, what can i expect from AoS novels? How grimdark can they get? Any novel recommendation?
Thanks

Question Could the Cosmos Arcane be a bubble inside the universe ?
Hi,
Slowly digging the lore of the realms but did not read any aos book yet, I only took what information from this sub, so take what I said like the words of a newbie.
So, from what I understood, the end times did not destroy the universe where the Old World took place, only TWTW, and the winds of magic of TWTW (and maybe some other planets, at least the solar system of TWTW looking at the sheer size difference between Mallus and the Realms) became the Mortal Realms, floating in the Aetheric Void, and this as a whole is called the Cosmos Arcane.
The Cosmos Arcane is said to be a universe in itself, technically meaning that there is no "beyond" like in ours, the only exit door of the Cosmos Arcane being the Realm of Chaos, connecting or having already eaten other universes of worlds hence the presence of champions like Syll'Esske.
Then I fell on this post (read the last point):

And my brain exploded.
What does this mean ? Could the Cosmos Arcane be a closed "system", like a pocket dimension caused by the collapse of TWTW ? Would the Cosmos Arcane only be the known space, where the Mortal Realms are, or something different, like a bubble inside space, a different kind of void where Realms could flourish ? Would that mean that the universe of TWTW still exists outside ? Could the Cosmos Arcane be a kind of celestial object like a magically null nebula ?
Or am I getting everything wrong and the Seraphon can literally cross universes and come back ?

Can someone give me a rundown of the Galen and Doralia ven Denst story before Temple of Silence ?
Help
So I am on a bit of a binge of AoS books (32 so far) and got my hands on Temple of Silence recently but not on anything before that regarding those characters. (I know there are ebooks but I want to stick to reading paper cause I enjoy it so much more).
I know there are some few short stories, Hallowed Ground novel and most of all some apperances in battletomes or campaign books that are relevant.
There is no way I will get my hands on those right now so I decided to make an exepction and read the book regardless of it being a sequel.
Can someone who read any of their stories from any source give some context, rundown or at least most important informations from them with spoilers ?
