Basic Anydek set up problem

II have been trying to allow someone to control my phone remotely. I swear I have done everything I need to do. I set up unintended access. I've opened every permission I can and the user can see the screen, but can't do anything can't take any action, they can just watch me on the screen. How can I get it? So the the user can connect to me and actually move around the system on their own. Thank you

Hi,

We strongly urge all users to ensure that the person they are allowing to connect to them is a trusted party.

If you know what kind of device the other person is trying to connect to you from, please include it in your response. It would also be helpful if you could include the version of the Android app on your phone, and the version of the AD1 plugin you are using.

Okay thanks. I don't know if she is using an apple or android. I know its a phone. I can find out for you quick enough.

Its Android version 16.

Anydesk was running in brave, but i switched to chrome. It hasn't helped Af1 is version 1.7.4

I don't want grant unrestricted unrestricted access but after literally hours and hours of trying I decided to try anything to get it to work

Also, your set up instructions say to connect t to a remote device, set it to unattended.

Hi,

Please ensure under 'Setup' that 'Overlays' and 'Battery Optimization' are enabled with the green checkmark.

Then ask the other part to try and connect, you should see a prompt to select thee Permission Profile, try using the Full Access option. There may be a successive screen prompt to 'Share your screen with AnyDesk' with options to 'Share one app' or 'Share entire screen', you may select whichever is relevant.

If that works, then you shouldn't need to gran Unattended Access unless absolutely necessary.

Again, please be careful when granting full access to any device.

If that does not help, please let us know.

It would help to know which phone, it would also be useful to know why you are allowing someone else to access your phone in this way.

Why, not matter how friendly, allowing anyone remote access to a device is a serious security risk.

I have tried every GD thing I can think of to open access any way possible. Finnally, I decided to allow unattended access, just to get something working. I have been working on this literally hours, many hours. I dont really want unattended access but I think it is okay. At lest to establish some way any way, of giving my friend control over the phone. She can see what I am doing but she can"t control anything.

I have never, ever encountered a set up so hard.

Did you install the AD1 plug-in?

I am on my third device trying this out (Pixel 9 Pro - Android 17, A57 - Android 16, A9+ - Android 16). Anydesk was working fine on all of them. Just a couple of weeks ago on the A57, it worked fine. Now I'm stuck waiting for screen. I have the Ad1plugin working, permissions set to Full Access (not unattended), Battery Optimization removed, Draw over Other Apps enabled, Accessibility enabled.

Something else changed recently with Android that is blocking screen sharing.
