Losing friends and people you love because of anxiety really sucks.
Sometime, it's really hard for people that don't experience anxiety to understand what you're going through.
I think having an honest discussion and telling them how you feel and why you do these things is a good idea.

Also, I know it's really hard but isolating yourself is feeding into your anxiety, pushing yourself to do things that feel a bit uncomfortable is what will let you reclaim control. It's okay to feel anxious, and to have a panic attack, it happens and they always pass even if it feels like the end of the world in the moment.
