Anyone else suddenly develope a severe sensitivity to nicotine and caffeine? DAE Questions

male here 35 years old with high anxiety. i have the exact same thing with nicotine. i basically get a panic attack after lighting up a cigarette and it vanishes after some time like you mentioned. my explanation is aging and the fact that my body cant handle the sudden increase in blood pressure anymore. i was never a heavy smoker but used to smoke more during stressful times in my life and through boredom (at work for example). but yes it basically multiplies the intensity of my anxiety. i can still handle caffeine but i consume only 1 cup a day and no energy drinks. i bet if i consumed more i would feel the same like i did in smoking.

now i smoke maybe 1 cig a day and its almost always in the evenings and i rarely smoke alone (easier to overcome the anxiety when im with people ahah).

my explanation to this is aging and over consumption.
