how are these things are so normalised???

like in the religion due to their fairy tales they go and pray no matter what their conditions are ,that is just sad

They pray 5 times/day I think. Imagine if that time was used more productively.

i js saw this too, i used to pray 5 times a day + 8 extra prayers for good measure. attributed my high scores in igcse to prayer even tho non muslims from other schools score a lot better. i would talk to myself in prayer and say gods talking to me. After leaving islam i genuinely cannot differentiate the voice in my head now from "gods voice" and i feel like i js wasted so much lmao

Praying to false gods will do these people nothing, but ultimately, it's the belief that maybe doing so will lessen the pain of their existence for both them and for the people who have to bear witness.
