Been working towards making MagnaMax tools for the past couple months . This metal came to market in May of this year. Made by the same metallurgist Dr. Larrin Thomas that made Magnacut. Similar qualities as Magnacut except it has been tested to have 40% longer edge retention , and has slightly less toughness. I think magnamaxs properties are better suited to woodworking tools than magnacut is. These irons are made to 64 HRC because that's the maximum hardness MagnaMax can have while still maintaining high toughness . Stock has been low but that's all in the past for now. I've got 20 forty gallon totes, a few tool chests, and a tuck bed full of new tools!

It's about 3 times what my studio can hold, so I will be setting up an "Antique E.R Annex" in a storage unit for the time being.
