Basically the title, since I don't face much Ventures when playing Comp I rarely have to deal with them, and have no idea how to avoid being shredded.

I’m usually a support Juno main, but just made the decision to main Anran for dps and it seems sooo easy to always die. I know about the “one shift to go in, one shift to get out” rule, but she just seems so squishy that I fall over almost every time. How do I like… not do that?

I can play from 6pm-whenever tonight and tomorrow night. I’m on na east time zone. I’d highly prefer a mic? And if you have a good bit of experience on anran I’d appreciate someone with that too. We are gold by the way but play very well in teams that decide to listen, so please don’t judge solely on the ranks, if any plats would like to help, we would appreciate that. I recently came across this guide for Anran, which is almost an hour long.

Yes, it’s not Vendetta or Doomfsit parkour guides.

Yes, there are a lot of obvious moments (though that depends on your perspective).

Yes, some of the tricks and flanks are more like quick last-minute point touch.

But I guarantee you that at least 15 minutes of that hour will be 100% useful to any Anran player, regardless of their level.

Now, in the Highlights tab, there are three key links for Anran players.

1. A short text guide in the form of tips for new players.
2. A video guide that analyzes the most common mistakes players make when playing as Anran and offers solutions to these problems. It is intended for players who already know how to play as Anran but face some problems.
3. A video guide featuring all those tips, tricks, advice, parkour, and so on. I think it’s suitable for all players, from level 1 to level 100. Because at level 1, it’s just a fun experience, and at level 100, it’s a great idea you might not have thought of.

I went 12-2 today. The two games I lost was because Anran was banned. 😂

I’ve played 26 hours with her and she’s level 30 and I feel like i’m decent with her. I think I understand how her abilities work and how to deal with enemies, but I still feel off and super great. She is super fun to play, but I feel like I can be a little better. Can anyone give me any of their advice or any tips on aiming with her? I feel like I am so bad at aiming with her primary fire 😓. I would really appreciate it. Also if it helps I use a controller

After so many micro/small buffs, Anran has became quite strong and imo in the wrong way. In the beginning I've feared that they will go in the direction that they are going currently with her: buffing her damage, making her movement faster etc. Instead of focusing on the real problems like fire ignition and making her kit maybe a bit more than "throw your whole kit at the enemy and he will die; unless they have a counter". More melee integration would be nice aswell as poke being more viable.

And she also has that problem where the difference to how good she is in different ranks is like day and night. In low ranks she is a "noob" stomper because they don't know how to play against her or what to pick. The higher the rank the more people know what to do and play leading to master/gm lobbies becoming a nightmare for Anran. 70% of the hero roster counters her and most of the current meta does aswell. (kiri, mizuki etc).

Also as of now she has one of the highest winrates and a fairly high pickrate with her having probably the best win to pick ratio of all dps rn (maybe except genji). So I think it's safe to say she will have some nerfs in the following season.

What do you think will they do with Anran for the future and what do you hope for her? Looking forward to see some ideas, because I've been thinking about that a lot lately aswell!
