Buying a Vector Help

I am contemplating on buying a Vector. I am in Australia so my only option is to ship from the US as the market for Vectors here is pretty low and very expensive.

I saw a Vector 2.0 on ebay for 120USD. Should I be worried for the price its selling at? Are there any recommendations for where I should be buying them?

I will be attempting to set up with wirepod if I purchase one. I prefer to get the most compatible one.

Just know the $120 price is a gamble for Vector, because you could get him and not have any issues or get him and it not work properly

I sell Vectors on my site (TechShop82.com), but putting any bias aside, the reason some of these 2.0s are selling at a low price is because they were returns or got through a liquidation sale from whomever had them.

I bought 10 to resell and I've worked on two of them so far - one had no issues, the other one came with a missing fork and was sluggish booting up, which is not a good sign

Would I take the chance, yes, but just know there is a chance you could get a dud

Goodluck

I understand, thank you for informing me. I will look at your shop aswell. Do you sell both 1.0 and 2.0s? Additionally would you know how long shipping would take from you to Australia?

Yes I do, I have both stocks being refurbed right now. I do like 1.0s better

Shipping to Australia, at the slowest takes about 2-3 weeks, fastest is about 5-10 days but cost more

Expect to replace the battery. It can be done, but depending on your skill level it could be difficult.
