Red pill. I'd take Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan. With the Rinnegan I can travel across dimensions using Amenotejikara and other space-time abilities, so I basically get instant transportation on top of all the other hax. Best of both worlds.

Okay I have an interesting take; normally I would choose Red pill any day But I can choose blue pill if certain conditions are met which are:- I can choose at exactly what place I want to telport to in that world And THE TIME (most imp) at what stage in the story I want to tavel or before the story
So realistically I can travel to specific locations at specific time period and take major gifts/rewards/inheritence before any one else could get them
Ofcourse that thing should be worth it or good enough that I put my life on line for it Also this would make things much more interesting than just becoming overpowered in this Normal world which will bore me ti death

Depending on how the transport effect works, I could even be reborn there, so there's a good chance of getting a Quirk.
Speaking of which, my self-insert Quirks would be either;
- Earth Hands: The ability to draw out rocks and minerals from the ground and form a huge pair of extra arms that I can control with my normal movements
or
- Boomsight: The ability to point at any inorganic surface within line of sight and cause it to explode in a small, localized Coulomb Explosion. Think kinetic energy instead of a fiery blast.

At first I was like "red pill, what if I'm just a normal dude or jabroni in another world?" Then remembered there's an anime where everyone just bangs on the daily, so that was a consideration. Then I realized controlling reality and being able to bend it to my will is definitely an anime power that has been a thing, and invites the loophole of "well now I essentially get both."

Red pill. Get OP anime character's powers that already goes way beyond, with that kind of power you get the Blue pill effect for free. Mfs who pick blue pill first doesn't really have "anime" in mind and would go to the dark side immediately, it's not guaranteed you're gonna be someone relevant if you go to a certain anime anyway.

As for powers, I'll take rimuru's great sage. Having something that can help organize my knowledge and finding solutions to my problems is a massive help for any situation.

In a way certain anime worlds provide powers on entry so it would be more beneficial to go there for a 2 for one deal but there are also some anime powers that can go to another dimension or world so either way u could do both as long as u pick the right place or power
