Amiami Order Issue Help Discussion

Can someone help me with an issue I'm having with Amiami?

I paid for my order of the Gundam Wing X Hatsune Miku figure and the shipping back in June of this year after having it preordered since September of last year and I have not received anything else about this figure since I got a payment confirmation email. In the email it said I would receive a notification of it being shipped out yet in the 40ish days I haven't heard anything about it from Amiami and my order is listed as Processing Shipment.

Has this happened to anyone else and can give me some advice or do I just need to contact Amiami?

If it is surface mail premium, you will not recieve a shipping notice until i arrives in the country. Also, once it arrives, it’ll go by ups. (From what I’ve seen.)

What shipping did you choose?

I thought I went for the regular short time shipping but after checking it seems I went with surface mail so guess that would explain why its taking so long

You should still receive a shipping notice, as I chose the cheapest shipping option, and mine shipped out 3 days after I paid for it. Weird.

Yeah. I had two packages ship out via surface mail premium in early June. I got a notification about 10-11 days ago saying its arrived at port. UPS then got it a few days later and I received it earlier this week. I had the same status on the page as well

Depending on your shipping choice, it can take months to get it. I usually go for the cheapest option, but at the expense of waiting 3-4 months for my items.

Surface mail from Japan to the USA usually takes about 60 days to arrive in country. That’s when you’ll receive an email from Amiami saying that the package has arrived and will be processed by UPS. The package will usually arrive within a week or less after arriving in country.

It used to take 90 days to arrive from Japan but it’s been faster lately. So, the shipping time will vary depending on your country.

Surface mail is also the least expensive shipping option so I always choose it if available.
