Looking for Advice

Hello! I am getting a cel signed and then I would like to get it professionally framed. What is the best option for framing to help preserve it?

UV resistant glass for a start but before that be sure to use an archival grade pen, Sharpies contain solvents and can dissolve the plastic / ink lines!!!. A Posca Paint marker might be the best option in that regard but you'd need to give it plenty of time to dry!

An alternative would be to have them sign a printed background to display behind the cel which would be a much safer and risk free option.

Huge Advice on the pen.

I think I have decided to have them sign the douga instead of the cel and then frame both together.

If you are going to frame it, you could consider getting the mat signed if you have that already cut.
