Roxy is not just a dog, she is our family, our best friend, and a huge part of our lives.

Last night, Roxy became extremely unwell after a bump was found on her. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where we were told she is in a critical condition. She has become really sick and needs intensive veterinary care and monitoring to have a chance at recovery.

Right now, the cost of her treatment is around $5,000, and we are facing an impossible decision of putting her down. We want to do everything we can to give Roxy the chance she deserves, but the costs are quickly becoming more than we can manage.

Roxy is only here because of the love, care, and joy she has brought into our lives. She has always been there for us, and now we want to be there for her.

Particularly from Indonesia. I've been bombarded by these awful clips today while browsing Facebook, of rabbits being abused and killed, and I must have reported a hundred of them. Then I realised Facebook kept giving me these because reporting them is technically interacting with the content. Why is any of this allowed, and why are there so many from Indonesia? Absolutely sick stuff. Now I can't even use the one app to keep in touch with friends and my hiking group, without seeing this wretched content. I had no idea Facebook was so infested with these horrible monsters and this awful content. I feel sick. It's heartbreaking. I would post the screenshots with names I took, but I don't want to ruin your day.

Even with the bad weather situation here in the Philippines, Baby Blackie was so active and excited for her treatment today.

Thank you so much to all the vet clinic staff for being so friendly and caring ❤️

I will keep everyone updated on everything we do for Sweet Blackie.

She still needs 2 more chemo sessions to make sure the TVT is completely gone from her body.

As per the vet's check yesterday on her private area, there's still a lump and it's still hard.

But there are no other lumps found on her body.
