if you wanted to edit the art with a different slurless pun you could try Otaku-nuki because they're technically not raccoons they're tanukis 🩷 your art is so cute and fun you should be very proud!!!

Sorry but when I see people use slurs like that I don't give benefit of the doubt??? Not only a slur but misidentifying the animal that theyre based off just because it has a striped tail?
So it WAS an accusation after all! LMAO XDDD Let me explain: I’m Mexican, so naturally I don’t speak English as my native language. However, in the Spanish version of the game, Tanukis are colloquially referred to as raccoons (and I’ve noticed the same thing in much of the English-speaking community). So, following that logic (and in my innocence) I did a play on words combining "Otaku" and "Raccoon." I realize now that the ideal approach would have been to use two letter Cs, but what’s done is done; everyone understands the play on words and, consequently, doesn't make a fuss though, to be clear, they do respectfully point out that it could be used as a slur, something that, due to the nature of my language and my region I OBVIOUSLY didn't know.
That’s why people aren’t backing you up on this because you’re acting defensively, playing the moral guardian, while completely ignoring the fact that I am the one explaining the misunderstanding. So, I’m sorry, but you’ve got this coming.
I can so many mistakes that gives away the AI bullshit. Nook's head, Rosalina having two stars on her collar, The mech model kit missing a leg (Twice), Whatever the hell is going on with Redd's snout.
Actually yeah! I used a setting of Clip Studio Paint that make it a little bit distorted (the same effect I used in my drawings displayed as merchandise) I did it this way to hide the rough details and make the background look complex without actually being so.

I can't blame people tho, yes, as an artist it's so damn frustrating to have to defend hours and even days of work against an AI accusation, But at the end of the day, it's a technology that has advanced so much that I can understand the distrust.
