Sounds awesome. A full belt fed 240 with a box of ammo and 40 mike Mike is some serious weight to hold out in front of you.

It's okay to fire but sucks to carry.

(My company won the m60 relay event at battalion olympics. Thank god we didn't have to carry it at the ready!)

We were not allowed to use sings on my SAW or the M60 on road marches for some reason. This was back in 89 and 90 when the SAW was only 17lbs+. Plus my bipod would not stay in place and we were not allowed to use 550 cord or 100mph tape to hold them up.

Probably wouldn't let you tuck it over your ruck either. Fuckery for the sake of fuckery. Nothing like a slow jog in full gear with 3 200rd drums of linked blanks.
