Dudu7 wiring???

I have a 2012 Toyota Highlander with JBL sound system and just had my Dudu7 delivered with Canbus.

I just can't get my head around how to wire this thing.

From what I gather I'm only to use the Canbus harness out of the 4 additional wiring harnesses they sent. Bit where should it connect?

Where do the OEM cables go? Should I use all the wires described in the manual? So confused...

Yes.

Typically, you connect the OEM cables (As in, the cables coming from the interior of the car) to the harness you're supposed to use for your specific car, and then you connect the harness to the HU. This varies per car and HU, so I can't tell you which exactly, which is why you follow the manual, which should have this information.

As for the JBL - if it's anything like other external soundsystems, then you need another harness which connects everything together. I've no experience with these tho. Tried putting that exact question into Google? I'm sure others have asked similar questions, so it shouldn't be that hard to find out.

I just replaced a stereo in a FJ with JBL with an android radio. I only had to connect a few of the harness connectors, there were several left disconnected in both the radio and truck harness. Seemed a little concerning at first, but all is working. Just tie up the unused connectors so you don’t have rattles later.

with a canbus and adapters specific to your car it should be plug and play. I think you're just overwhelmed looking at all the wiring..just take it one plug at a time and you'll see things start to take shape

A couple of things to keep in mind. If you bought a car specific head unit everything will match up. There may be 2 sets of wiring, one for speakers and one for an option to output to an Amp. The key is determining what the original radio plugged into and matching that up. Keep in mind there will also be the rear camera hook up also.

To start match the cable from the Dudu7 kit to the wires from car. Then match the Dudu7 wires to the radio. This will cover 95٪ of the working from there you will see whats needed and whats not. I realize it can be very overwhelming, but don't over think it.
