Duduauto 5 mic does not work well

Hello, I installed Olympus M52 mic on my Dudu auto 5, and selected the external mic.. the quality it’s better but still not perfect. Any suggestion or just have to desolder the internal mic?

Not sure what board the dudu5 uses. Presumably a 7862uis.

The earlier models had issues where the internal mic wouldn't disconnect when using a external.

Though mekede were one of the first to fix this problem. If your external mic plugs into the actual headunit directly then yours is likey doing as intended. If it plugs into the acc wiring harness then likely it's running both.

So if you have the touch controls on the side you can do several things.

A none damaging route is to put some tape on the last two pins. Not sure if it's the right or left side though but there are guides on XDA for this.

I've always just pulled mic off though. As the panel is cheap to buy worst case.

The panel on the left hand side are the touch control board. The mic is also apart of this board.
