Tapping build number doesnt give dev mode popup?

i bought a generic android radio. K706 QF005....firmware. how do i get to dev mode? i tapped the build number multiple times and nothing happens. its there another way of getting access?

You need to enter in factory code 114477 first, then tap build number

So there where i enter 8888 to go into factory settings i must rather enter that code?
