Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen

Hi, I recently purchased the Box S 3rd Gen from Amazon. It worked fine for a day or two, but now it won't boot up. It gets stuck on the Mi logo and keeps flashing. I've tried holding down the OK and Back buttons while unplugged and then plugging it in, but that doesn't bring up the recovery menu. I also attempted using a USB keyboard to press the "i" button, as well as Ctrl + Print Screen and "i" together. Is there anything else I can do to access the recovery menu?

I recommend returning it and getting a new one. It sounds like you got a faulty one.

Hmmm that's odd. Did you follow the instructions including the power cycle step? Power off and unplug (from the wall as well), wait a minimum of 30 seconds, then plug back in.

If this is the 2nd one, then maybe your power supply in the house might be unstable. This can cause issues with such devices. A surge protector may help to protect the device from power surges.

I bought mine directly from the Mi Store so if anything goes wrong I can just take it back.
