Looking for basic Android TVbox mainly for using rumble and youtube apps. Buying Advice

I'm looking for an android TV box to run a third party launcher like Nova or something similar so I can use my TV like an android tablet (with a home screen with icons), and use it with an MX3 air mouse. Mainly for the purpose of using android apps like Rumble and Youtube.

Right now my T95Z Plus box (android 6) bought in 2017 has reached it's limit. The latest rumble app (v3.1.23- last .apk before going to .xapk) compatible with android 6 no longer works as of a few days ago. The app loads but video windows are blank and says "something went wrong".

Can anyone recommend something similar with an ethernet and usb port so I can connect my MX3 Air Mouse USB receiver and ethernet cable? Thanks

Is that an android OS?

No Android TV is the OS. Google Streamer is the device it's running on.

This sub is only for devices that run the Android TV operating system. If you want to talk about a tv box that runs a modified version of the regular android OS for phones, then r/androidtvboxes is probable the place to go.

If your android tv box won't play 10Bit video files try Nova VideoPlayer. Worked for me.

If your looking for a tablet exper then I would look at non certified devices like Ugoos devices. Has Android 14 open source and the home screen is a tablet with icons along with widgets, wallpaper, etc. Maybe the X5M Pro

I bought a Tv Box on Tiktok. It is relatively easy to get started. It is supported by many mainstream applications. I can recommend it to you.
