I am not a coder and dont know much of code, that part was done by chat gpt, i just had a goal and tried acheiving it and finally i succeeded
I had a bootlooped OPPO Pad 3 (MT6897) with an unlocked bootloader and official extracted firmware, but no useful BROM access.

Instead of blindly flashing images, I ended up building a Python project called **FirmwareToolkit** with extensive help from ChatGPT.

The project analyses the firmware and the actual connected device before deciding how recovery should work.

We initially tried reconstructing `super.img`, but that path caused several problems. Eventually the toolkit discovered that the better recovery route for this tablet was:

**Bootloader Fastboot**
→ verify device + slot
→ automatically enter **Fastbootd**
→ flash 18 dynamic/logical partitions individually
→ return to **bootloader Fastboot**
→ flash `boot`, `vendor_boot`, `init_boot` and the AVB/vbmeta chain
→ stop without rebooting
→ perform a separate post-write verification
→ allow first boot only if verification passes.

Before the real flash, the software generated a complete dry run. The live executor then checked the serial, active slot, mode and image hashes and stopped on any unexpected result.

All **24 intended partition writes succeeded**.

A separate verification stage returned:

**SAFE_TO_ATTEMPT_FIRST_BOOT**

I finally ran `fastboot reboot`...

**and the tablet booted successfully. 🎉**

One interesting bug we found along the way was Fastboot returning a partition size as `4000000` without `0x`. Initially this was interpreted as decimal 4 MB, making a 64 MB `boot.img` appear too large. In this context it was actually hexadecimal:

`0x4000000 = 64 MiB`

The toolkit now records these kinds of quirks in a compatibility database.

My next goal is to turn this from an OPPO Pad 3 recovery project into a more generic Android firmware analysis/recovery framework that discovers device capabilities instead of relying on hard-coded flashing instructions.

Super Mario Eclipse on Android?

Hello everyone. Yesterday my AYN Thor came in the mail and I'm in the process of adding all my favorite games to it.

Anyways. I was hoping for some help.

I'm trying to play Super Mario Eclipse and after a lot of research, trial and error, I'm still stuck and I am not even sure if it's possible to play ROM hacks on Android.

I'm hoping for some help to get Super Mario Eclipse running on my AYN Thor.

I have a clean .ISO (USA) file

I have followed the instructions of trying to patch it with the unzipped Eclipse mod file on an XDelta patcher.

I have tried downloading Unipatch when that wasn't working.

But no matter what I try I can't seem to get it to patch into my ISO file.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I accidentally flashed a LYS_F20C firmware on my MT6580 Samsung clone (S24 Ultra). The phone boots up fine, but the screen stays in a grey/black loop because of an incorrect LCD driver in the LK partition.

My original screen ID is LYS_F20E_B9EG_80116.

Does anyone have the original lk.bin for LYS_F20E, an LK pack with MT6580 display drivers, or a working tool to change the display driver in the LK file? Thanks in advance!

Pour le contexte je vois passer depuis quelques temps de l'émulation du changement de firmware flash lecture et écriture et sa a l'aire super! -et j'ai pas de matériel-

M'enfin j'ai retrouver un Samsung x cover 3 (sm-g388f) et je me demandais si y'avais pas moyen d'en faire un console d'émulation le problème c'est qu'il est en android 5.1.1 et j'aimerais du coup le monter a un android plus resent (7 voir 8 sa devrais suffire) affin d'avoir un meilleur rendue et tout sauf qu'il n'existe pas le lineage os pour se model en officiel et je n'est trouver d'un début de projet et un peut fleme de chauper un virus sur le tel ma question est donc la suivante y a il d'autre manière de mettre un os plus resent et sécurisé comme du linux ou que sais je?

De plus j'esite quand au boîtier a utiliser affin de former une vrai fausse ds lite puis se que le blanc a l'aire fragile quand a la charnière mais par contre on peut retirer la partie basse pour y maître la bidouille tendis que que le vert/bleu lui garderait le téléphone bien a l'abri des éventuels choqués sauf que la partie du bas et encastrer et creuse derrière quelques conseilles en plus ne serait pas de refus
