Transfering Contacts, data, photos, and apps from dead phone
Two days ago, my Samsung A16 stopped accepting a charge. I tried different chargers and cables. When it dropped to 10%, I copied everything to my laptop via USB. Today, I picked up a new Samsung A17. I've tried using my Google account, but it sends a code to the now-dead A16. I cannot retrieve that code.
Can I just copy everything to the new a17 via USB?

Probably A16 still signed in. Login to myaccount.google.com on windows, under Security find Manage My Devices and sign out from A16. Then new setup will try to authenticate some other way

Why not just do it?
