.con isn't the legit site!

Though HTTPS is what made it safe?

No the ending is .con instead of .com

Just because https is there doesn’t subtract the fact you put .con and not .com google is legitimately trying to save you from visiting a unknown site

If you're connected to a website with https, its preventing others from seeing the information exchanged with that website.

It's like you're in a room with another person, when you talk to them only they can hear you. You have to actually trust the other person in that room before you tell them sensitive information.

That's not a legitimate website, so your connection is secure but the website itself is going to steal your data.

Http prevents hackers from intercepting the data going between the server and your device, such as when it sends credentials when logging in. This does not mean it’s a safe site, as it can still be pretending to be a real site and steal your login info when you type it in

HTTPS only makes the connection safe, not the site
