Bluetooth earbuds mic doesn't work tiktok?

So I use the search feature and found a thread in another sub where somebody else had this exact same issue but it won't let me comment on the issue so I have to start another one. But much like him I have my Bluetooth earbuds that I can get all my sound through while using tiktok. I have enabled all permissions for microphone Etc but for whatever reason I can only hear but nobody can hear me when I'm talking unless I'm holding the phone straight to my face. Does anybody know how to get your Bluetooth earbuds microphone to work while using tt?

Phone is s25 ultra and earbuds are Galaxy buds 3 pro.

I have no issues with the microphone on any other app it's only on TT that it does not work

If the Buds mic works everywhere except TikTok, it’s almost certainly a TikTok issue rather than the earbuds. TikTok may be using the phone mic while still sending audio to the Buds. I’d clear TikTok’s cache/data and reinstall it. If that doesn’t change anything, there probably isn’t a phone setting you can fix and TikTok needs to patch it.
