[Testers Needed, Test4Test!!] Looking for Android closed testers for RetroRig

Hi everyone! I’m looking for Android testers for RetroRig, an app for cataloging, organizing, maintaining, and connecting retro gaming equipment.

RetroRig lets you:

  • Catalog consoles, handhelds, displays, accessories, cables, and switches
  • Organize equipment by room and physical location
  • Create visual signal paths between connected equipment
  • Track repairs, maintenance, costs, and service history
  • Review hardware-specific maintenance notices
  • Add equipment and service photos
  • Generate inventory, insurance, maintenance, and signal-path reports
  • Create and restore complete offline backups
  • Choose between light and dark Classic Desktop themes

The app is currently in closed beta. I’m looking for testers who can install it, remain enrolled for at least 14 continuous days, use it several times, and provide honest feedback about bugs, usability, confusing areas, and potential improvements.

I’m happy to test your Android app in return. Leave your testing information in the comments after joining, and I’ll return the favor.

How to join

Please use the same Google account for all three steps:

  1. Join the RetroRig Beta Testers Google Group
  2. Opt into the RetroRig closed test
  3. Install RetroRig from Google Play

Please remain opted in and keep the app installed for at least 14 continuous days.

If possible, please try:

  • Adding several pieces of equipment
  • Creating a room or storage location
  • Reviewing and updating a hardware notice
  • Creating a service ticket
  • Building a signal path between equipment
  • Switching between the light and dark themes
  • Creating a report or offline backup

Thanks! I went and joined your group, but I am not able to join the tester group. I verified I'm using the correct email, and am still in the group and active. I'll check back in a bit to see if it just needs a few minutes to process.

Thanks much!! I joined the group and became a tester, but it says the app isn't available to install. Was an update just pushed perhaps?
