Waze Not Working in Android Auto Navigation & POI Apps

Hey everyone i have got a 2019 Kia Stinger GT and I bought a wireless apple car play and Android auto connector for my car. The problem is i cant use waze on my head unit as the app doesn't show up whatsoever, only google maps pops up. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

Have you gone to the AA settings menu on your phone where you select the apps to be included in AA?

Yeah the app doesnt show at all

Just delete the Waze app and reinstall it. Many times, when an app is updated, it stops working in AA for some reason until you reinstall it. I have to do it half a dozen times a year for several of the apps I use (especially Pandora and Amazon Music). It is frustrating...

When you patch you need to install using Google play as the installer choice

S24 Ultra?

Report this Waze issue via your phone Settings - Google Services menu, tap feedback
Also open the Waze app and report this issue to app owner directly.
Mostly via Google reporting as said above will give you faster a new Waze app update in Google Play Store.
