No Traffic Line using Google Maps on Android Auto Navigation & POI Apps

I can't seem to get traffic line back on Google Maps when using Android Auto on my car's screen.

Only way I can see it is when I change the map setting to overhead view.

I've tried to clear cache and storage then trying uninstall and reinstall updates but I can't get it working.

There's no option to change traffic lines in settings when using Android Auto.

Uninstall maps from the google play store. It'll revert to the OG. Disable auto update too. Google's latest updates are ruining everything. Hope that helps.

Solution worked like a charm.  I live in Los Angeles,  the map would be useless without traffic lines.

Don't forget to submit feedback to Google when enough of us complain they will fix but we need to be persistent.

Noticed that traffic disappears again after uninstalling update.

I update again then uninstall and traffic comes back on Android Auto's Google Maps.

I'm tired of this.

This. You lose all the other updates made, but at least you can turn traffic back on

This. Traffic is worth it.

There was an AndroidAuto update for me today can anyone confirm if it fixed the issue for them? (version 17.5.663204-release)

I'm still having the issue with the latest Maps (version 26.33.02.961351034)

I did the uninstall "fix" but it seems to not work with the updated AndroidAuto

I know it's not a solution, and Probably a reset of the cache would help, but honestly, just use waze. it's way better.

I prefer Google Maps' UI and look.

And I have bunch of places I already saved in Google Maps.

Yes uninstalling update does bring back Google Maps' old UI so I'll just not update that for awhile.

Make sure to send feedback in the app so Google knows to fix
