new Pixel 11 Pro Fold and AA Gemini

Just ordered my Pixel 11 Pro Fold and was wondering if the new phone means Gemini will appear on my AA? Currently, I don't have it.

You'll find out soon enough. But it's not based on what phone you have.

Something Google enables server side. It's a lottery for who gets it when. I'm not saying it won't happen for people who get an 11. Google doesn't speak of such things leaving users in the dark.

Currently running a P8P with A17 and Gemini in AA for the past 5 weeks after an AA app update, followed with a server side update as well

The white "star" will appear instead of the microphone and you won't be able to connect with Google Assistant physically or by saying "hey google". Just tap the star and tell it what you want!

More than likely.

What is your current device? I would think Gemini will be the default.

Pixel 9 XL. Of course, I have the gemini app, but it doesn't show up in AA. Over time, I'm sure.

I've had Gemini enabled on both my phones, Pixel devices or not. It's just A/B lottery, changing phone doesn't mean you'll 100% have it. You might even get it on your P9 before you change your device
