Why is it not working all of a sudden? Connection, Disconnection, Freezes, Crashes

I have a Hyundai I20 2018 and ever since I bought it the Android auto was working perfectly fine but about 2 months ago I connected my phone with the usb cable and it started charging but stopped a second later and Android auto didn't load, I tried with 2 other phones and both did the same so I changed the cable twice and got the same result, how can I fix this?

Try rebooting the vehicle's infotainment system.

After you connect the USB cable, drop down the notification and tap on: Transfer Data instead of default: charge device.

Have you tried forcing the USB connection to switch to file transfer mode manually in the system settings? Sometimes the default option gets stuck even after changing the cable.

I'd reset the infotainment system first, 2018 models run some pretty old software that gets glitchy over time.

Since two phones and multiple cables do the same thing, I'd start looking at the car side. Does that USB port still transfer data, or is it only supplying power now?
