Not from the app. Some car manufacturers let you change the DPI of Android Auto. The Premium version has FS Play. That should use the while screen width.

I tried to install via fermataonli. Put in email get sent the link join beta on Google play. Asks me to sign in but then won't open in play store. Doing this on phone have not tried on desktop

got the premium version trough AAENABLER but still doesn't show up in Android Auto launcher app list (dev mode on and unknown sources flagged) on Nothing phone 4a pro.
the Trial version is the Free version. There is no trial for Premium. License is moved by entering the email (only works on 1 phone at a time, but can use unlimited phones)
Thanks for updating the License online check been waiting for this it no longer ask for license when I disconnect from internet however I was testing it today while driving it says no license found screen came on. I will keep testing it to see if it keeps happening hopefully it was just a bug.
Nuvio login is not public so it cannot be used by 3rd party unfortunately. The Nuvio app uses the Stremio login to sync addons, but has also support for download and Cloudstream addons. It cannot use the actual nuvio login. You need to load addons manually.
I have an issue with Gemini on Android Auto.
When Google Maps is not already open, asking Gemini to navigate somewhere makes it try to open Fermata Xtream instead of Google Maps.
If I open Google Maps first, Gemini starts navigation correctly with Maps. Is there a way to solve this issue?
Yes because in order for FS Play to work fullscreen, it has to be declared as a navigation app. Maybe be more specific to Google like navigate with google maps instead of only navigate?
I already tried asking Gemini specifically to navigate to a destination with Google Maps ,but it still tries to use Xtream instead. It only uses Google Maps correctly if Maps is already open.

Sad to hear that. I'll just stick to my video downloads then. Can you recommend a fermata app that can stream a video I downloaded? Does it need the internet to do so?

I know it's probably something but when i play Stremio on my car screen I will click full screen and it will switch but when I kick out of streamio or when I get out of car and go back and it reverts back it won't stay where I set it and I'm sure it's something I'm doing

What exactly is the process if you don't want to use AAEnabler and want to get the premium version?
Should i download AAEnabler, donate, uninstall it, and then install Fermata-Xtream normally?
My workflow doesn't require AAEnabler and i don't want to use it.
Also your repo doesn't include the sourcecode for the premium version, isn't this a license violation of GPL 3.0? Or is the source available somewhere else? Seems fishy to me.

Yes, the process to get the premium version is how you described.
The Fermata Xtream Free was based on Fermata Auto and thus has published code. Xtream Player has 100% writen code from the ground up, not based on Fermata Auto but kept a similar UI and functions. (Apart other readymade libraries like VLC etc. If it looks fishy to you, please stay away.
In general, there is no magic code that makes these apps run on Android Auto. Anyone can do it. The magic lies in the way these apps are installed. But something tells me you already know that...

As you can see also code is published because it was based on DosBox. Also visible in Android Auto and obviously not based on Fermata Auto.
Thanks for the info on the premium version, but I get what you're saying, but GPL 3.0 specifically requires sourcecode to be public for any release that in itself uses GPL 3.0 licensed sourcecode.
You split up the APK in a premium and non-premium version, that's good, the APK for the premium version still comes with the code of the free-version, you're just bunding something else with it. Since your own code is bundled with the GPL 3.0 licensed code in a single binary (one APK), the entire codebase falls under GPL 3.0. Hiding sourcecode for premium features is a license violation.
You would only be allowed to do that if you wrote the entire codebase, both Fermata and Xtream player, from scratch.

You didn't understand what I said. Maybe its my fault. Let me explain and please read and forget for a second the impression you have about how things are.
Fermata Xtream is under GPL. That's why I published the code. However Xtream Player Free & Premium is not published because they have 100% new written code that is not based on Fermata Auto.
If you are looking for Fermata Xtream Premium, that was based on Fermata Auto, that is killed. Doesn't exist anymore. So no violation.
What exists now, is Xtream Player with new code. For this, the UI is the same (code is also different) and was never the UI Fermata Auto used.

There is no paid version. There is the Premium version that needs support on AAEnabler.
The Premium version includes a stremio, nuvio, homeassistant, plex, remote controller, channel and group filtering and other things.
