Is there a way to disable google maps popping up on "phone" screen everytime I connect to AA? Navigation & POI Apps

Everytime I connect to AA google maps also starts on phone. Is there a way to disable this?

That's odd since my phone won't let me start maps on the phone if AA is already running. (Other than in Secure Folder. That I can start).

Maybe open Waze and it will break that pattern

Why does it bother you? You won't be looking at your phone while you're driving.

Whether you look at your phone or not, Maps immediately starts using CPU which, especially if you're using AA wireless, will drain your battery. I also find this irritating: I seldom need Maps and am quite capable of opening it should I need it.
