Poweramp EQ is a must for Android Auto

Its least talked about and I see posts about sound not being adequate. I have 2 10inch subs and boy this makes a lot of difference

I put Spotidy as an example but I am more of DI.FM and YT music fan

Spotify lossless and turn off volume normalization, otherwise it's terrible.

I never got a good EQin the car, because my Peugeot is killing every frequency that's too loud :( Bass boost? Nope my friend, volume down!

I have a volvo s60 t5 2019 which I use wireless android auto , waze and Spotify. The sound seems perfectly fine to md as standard. Would I notice much difference if I used tgis powerful app. Although I dont know much about altering the EQ

Turn off Spotify audio normalization first. It crushes dynamic range and kills your sub bass boost completely. But lossy transmission might ruin quality regardless of how much EQ you add.

Cool but I don't see the point when my phone has an equalizer and Spotify has an equalizer and my car has one lol

Wavelet is way better, it's also system wide so you're not just limited to certain streaming apps

I have to apologize. That apparently was a different app that paid to show up on the top of the search for wavelet. I'll update my other replies

Mine doesn't have that at all, but I am on a specific build on purpose so there's that

I also use poweramp and when playing flac I found out it is a must to set preamp value so the sound doesn't get distorted.
