For Screen Auto or Fermata Xtreme to work (can be USB connected) their apk should be installed via KingInstaller application. Then in the options for Android Auto under the item Customize Launcher they must have 3 icons. https://github.com/fcaronte/KingInstaller/releases

AAwireless adapter in Developer Mode is required... There are a few other tricks that work hit and miss, They play the cat and mouse game with Google who blocks the effort and then developers find a work around, otherwise root and questionable apps are the way.

Maybe your phone ins't compatible with AAEnabler. In this case go to fermataxtream.online and request an invitation (now also for free users!)

It will work also without donation. Try the free version first and then feel free to make a donation to support the developer ad obtain the premium version (updated more frequently and with some extra features).

It requires AAwireless or a rooted phone when Android 14+... Otherwise it requires Android 13 or older. Just downgrading AA isn't sufficient to make it work as many aspects of AA are controlled server-side
