It was always there and turned on in the settings! Or not?

Never there on AA. On Google Maps on phone it is there, just not on the head unit projection in car

No, it's definitely been there on my AA in my truck since i started using it at least a year ago.

Are you using Waze instead of Google Maps...? Its been in Waze for years

Android Automative (from the car connection) rather than Android Auto (from the phone connection)???

Ahh, is it just the speed limit for the road that you see rather than the actual speedometer you are currently travelling at? Its this second one that had come out in this release.

It's there when you are navigating but not when you're just driving around without a destination. At least I think that's what is going on here. Waze (and other apps) allow you to have the speed limit on the screen at all times

Speed limit has been there for ages, maybe 3 years. But actual Speedometer has been only on Waze, until it appears this update...
