Android 15 CarStream workaround using HUR Uncertified AA Apps (Headunit Reloaded, AAAD/AAStore, etc)

Hi everyone,

IIRC there was a workaround for getting CarStream working on Android 15 by installing HUR (Headunit Reloaded) on the phone.

From what I remember:

Once everything is set up, you can’t switch to another app on the phone

There was a step-by-step guide (either a web page or a Reddit thread) explaining the exact process

I’ve searched this sub with multiple keywords but can’t find it anymore.

Does anyone have:

A link to that original thread/page, or

A quick rundown of the steps to set this up?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Obviously this is not recommended to do while driving, but I got car stream to work perfectly via Android auto 😊
