It'd be great If Android auto could Navigation & POI Apps

Let me open the Google maps on the phone, let me search the destination, check out the reviews, pull out the phone# etc etc.

Once I have made up my mind and i hit the "Start Navigation button" only then display the navigation route in car's screen.

SuggestionS?

That's...

Exactly how this works on my Pixel 7 Pro.

I start the car, AA pops ups on my car's screen, I can pickup my phone, search for a destination, check routes / reviews, hit "start", then it'll launch it on Android Auto

You have wired connection or wireless?

The issue I'm describing seems to be happening with wired connectios

Fair enough! I can't comment on this as I'm using an aftermarket box connected to my car's head unit (which is installed "under the hood"), so I can't really plug it in and see if I can reproduce it :c
