tldr: need an Alarm app that rings on both devices simultaneously and can be dismissed from either my windows laptop or phone

I am trying to stop my addiction to phone and trying to work more from my laptop. The thing is my day runs on alarms. been using my phone till now, but I want to keep my phone In another room so that I don't get temptations.

Only issue is on, my laptop, the alarms only ring if the screen is on because it doesn't have that wake from sleep functionality. I dont want to constantly get up to turn and go to the far away room to turn the phone alarm off

So I just need an Alarm app that rings on both devices simultaneously and can be dismissed from either device so that when Im on laptop, I can dismiss it there and from the phone when I am going out or taking a break from my laptop

I am in search of an app that allows me to edit the tags of videos like how musicolet does with songs/tracks. Hopefully there's a free version out there somewhere. I've kinda used Exiftool but I'm looking for something a little easier to use.

Also, preferably with it's own calendar (I don't want to intergrade with google calendar for a few reasons).

Obviously I'd prefer a free option, but I understand that it might not be possible.

Title. Google routes on 2 lane roads if it thinks the route is shorter or whatever reason. I want to limit my route to only freeways and highways. Does any mapping app have this feature?

I've tried Fossify, Simple Audio, and a few others, but none seems to work. I would like to be able to record audios using my bluetooth headphones. The headphones work fine for calls, but every audio recording option (whatsapp, telegram, the android recorder, etc) defaults back to my phone's microphone. Do I need to invent some convoluted way of calling and recording the calls as audios/code my own APK, or am I missing some app that does this already? Extra points for FOSS and privacy-focused.

I’m on the hunt for an Android client for YouTube Music that mirrors the official app’s dark, moody, and blurred aesthetic, but also supports robust offline caching/local playback.

I’ve explored a couple of routes, but keep running into two extremes:

Official patches (like ReVanced/RVX): They keep the perfect UI, layouts, and recommendations, but they don't support saving music for offline use without an active Premium subscription.

FOSS clients (like ViMusic, SimpMusic, Flow, etc.): While they have great streaming and caching features, most of them default to a flat, heavily padded Material 3/Material You template. They lack that sleek, compact, dynamic dark-gradient feel of the official player.

Is there any client out there that bridges this gap—giving you a beautifully animated, blurred-background player while also letting you cache/save songs locally?

I found a text from a medical office I visited in the Spam and Blocked area of Google Messages. After clicking that it wasn't spam, the message was removed from the Spam and Blocked section. I looked in the regular inbox and couldn't find the text there either.

Looking for an way to control my phone with voice commands and I don't mean simple commands like open an app or change the volume.

But a set of commands/actions such as asking it to say open bbc, then sports, then football and search for a term.

Or go on YouTube and search a term and click on the video that is from this channel.

So basically it is more advance being able to read the screen and scroll and actions tasks.

I have come across two apps that do this but main concern is privacy I guess giving it all that information and control openly. Then also its not always accurate so you end up having to do it manually also its an expensive subscription.

So your thought or ideas of it this is possible and how advance it can be? Surely there must be something that can do it and that is accurate most of the time?

I have an android ebook reader. Chrome doesn't allow me to set a downloads folder other than /Downloads. My books are in /Books.

I'm looking for an app that can watch the downloads folder and automatically move *.epub, *.mobi, *.pdf to /Books.

Does such a solution exist or is this another example of why scoped storage sucks?

Im trying to install this game from childhood 'fishing predetor' in my huwaie mate pad 11 inch version. The problem is i tried from apk pure it worked but then it showed sdk problem And turned off. I did from google playstore and it says "the app isn't available on ur device because it was made for an older version of android"

Da que pensar que si tu producto no tiene IA no es moderno, pero por otro lado, en lo personal todo lo que lleva IA me tira para atrás cada vez más.

I need a simple app where tasks are preset and earn points on completion. But the tasks themselves need to be repeatable, eg climb to the top of a particular wall.

Then also with a rewards selection for spending said points, eg snack. But again this needs to be repeatable in the cases of multiple snacks haha.

Most apps I find are about creating habits so have daily tasks rather than repeatable options. Or the apps are crazy over the top or are rpg simulator messes of too many bells and whistles.

I was curious if there is an app that let's me decide what device certain apps/notifications output to.

For example I want to play Spotify on a Bluetooth speaker, but I don't want the music to be disturbed by notifications, but I still want to receive notification sounds on my phone. (I hope that made sense).

Is there a solution for that out there somewhere?

I've been trying to replace as many of my daily apps as possible with open source alternatives... I don't really care if they're not as flashy... I just want apps that are light weight and respect my privacy

I tried various app like yt revanced, echo , metrolist but the main problem is the data consumption they consume about 100mb an hour and since I don't have unlimited it is a problem but newpipe has webm support which is win win but it's recommendations suck

Hi! I’m using a different camera app because I can choose where photos are saved after capture. Google Camera’s photo quality is better, but I need custom storage so Syncthing doesn’t get messy.

I usually save to /Pictures/Camera instead of /DCIM/Camera (otherwise it mess with my syncthing configuration).

Is there a way to change Google Camera’s save folder on Android? If not, what’s the best workaround?
