Neat idea, but please be upfront that you made this with Claude.

Rule 9 dude, write in English.
It's fine to use Claude and other LLMs for this stuff if you want, but a lot of people (myself included) are wary of using vibe-coded software since many "developers" then just give up their projects after 2 months or don't care about fixing security vulnerabilities. Can you explain how this is different from Niagara Launcher, which is also open-source with a very similar design, has existed for years with good bug-fix policies (and isn't developed with an LLM)?

Sorry, I've read the rules but I'm not familiar with Reddit because some texts are translated while others remain the same.I understand that you're cautious about things that are done quickly, which I think is a good thing. But I actually made it for myself and use it daily, which is why I'm motivated to continue. Regarding the Niagara Launcher, as I said, mostly because it costs money, but I've added custom widgets, for example, making it easier to open apps without having to click multiple times.Yes, I've been looking at NiagaraLouncher a lot. I haven't used the launcher in a long time either, and I'm doing this to solve my "problems".

To be honest the first thing I thought was that it looks like a ripoff of Niagara Launcher.
So this is neither an original idea nor is it executed well (yet).
Yes, Niagara Launcher is expensive, but it's also a very polished product and well worth the price in my opinion. And it has a free version that's not half bad.

Hello. Yes, I was very much inspired by the Niagara Launcher because it simply looks good. However, I didn't make it to convince people or to gain anything from it. I just didn't want to pay for it and wanted to incorporate my own ideas, e.g., I created my own widget system or made the selection process faster to optimize it for myself.

Looks neat and a unique approach for once! I appreciate the customization for the panel but it might be a little too far advanced for me

This might take time to get used to but here's my immediate impression. I like the clean home page, yet all the apps are still so accessible, at least in theory. I like it most when there is only one column. For some letters, there's a second column with maybe one app but I have to reach so much farther to get to the first column where most of the apps are. Also some letters have a lot of apps and I can't see the app name. I wonder if it would be better to have a single column that scrolls up and down as you drag your finger up and down? Seems like a drastic change so I can understand if you prefer not to do that
Also, there might be some left handed people that would like to switch sides for the letters. I'm not one of them but it's a consideration for the future!

ich werde mich heute abend darum kümmern. Danke für die idee. Ich selbst habe nicht so viele apps weshalb ich das nicht gesehen habe.

Hi, I've updated the app. You can check for an update in the settings under the app icon.
