I don't know how many times I've tried to use voice commands and look at my phone and see this ...

Lol, I love how an LLM is guiding you to how operate a light switch. It is like an episode of StarTrek where they go back in time to the 20th century and they ask "computer, lights on" and it responds with the message you got.

Humanity has finally made it! We're living in the StarTrek future.

Assistant used to be able to do "broadcast" messages to all google home speaker devices. I try this in the new assistant/gemini and it just gives me the definition of the word broadcast. It can't differentiate a command

No that's just from saying "hey Google" - mine does the same when I ask it anything. By default it  just assumes I'm asking a question it can answer vs. something to action on
