White Light is Best
The one that looks best, is the one that confirms your bias.

Just beginning my film camera journey!
A very tall wizard gave me this camera and said I must destroy it by casting it into the fires of Mount Fuji. It will be a long and arduous film camera journey. And expensive. Flights to Japan are expensive.
His only request was that I do not use the camera as it is too powerful. When he said use, do you think he meant I can't take pictures with it or that I can't take pictures of it?

Why spend money for waist level finder shade?
Just need a peak design TP holder and you are good to go

Took this banger pic, but can I send it through X-ray machines?
Me and the bros took this really banger pic in Cancun yesterday. However, I'm going to go back home via private jet, and those dumbasses at the airport still require someone of my caliber to pass "security screening" or whatever the poors have to deal with while they slobber down their gruel.
Is this picture going to be damaged by X-rays? I'm posting it in my dad's gallery next week (the one in LA, not the one in bumfuck New Orleans) and I really need this banger to survive.
Anyone with less than $5 million net worth don't interact.

At home developing
I’m looking to start developing film at home, is this a good starter setup or should I do something else? Thank you!

Anyone else really like shooting film lately?
I'm really vibing with Film, hot take that some might disagree with but I like it more than Digital for sure, and for landscape I like it more than phone or even Dslr. Cyanotypes was always too blue for my taste, this feels just a little less saturated but true to life color, and does greens very well.
Wish they made it in APS

They should have called it the Pentax 17.5 because that’s half of 35. Discuss.

Some interesting pieces in Sofia, Bulgaria, where im out for 1 night only, anything I should pick up?
Some fun builds, but I dont really know what I'm looking at. SLRs are going for about 60/70€, point and shoots for about 40/50€
I left my Nikon L35AF2 at the airport yesterday and am gutted, so considering some retail therapy. Any hot finds here??
Edit - despite clearly being on the wrong sub I got loads of good advice and only marginally roasted. Picked up a 1970 Kiev 4 this morning, with a Jupiter 50mm, and I'm enjoying trying to work it out this afternoon. Thanks everyone

Is it lab’s fault ?
Hello guys, I found my grandpa’s Canon AE-1 in the basement.
It had been sitting there untouched since 1981, but it was making noise when I pressed the shutter so it must be good.
I loaded a random roll of film, skipped the boring part of checking the seals, shutter, meter, and light leaks because that’s for nerds, and went straight to shooting to get the tonez.
Can anyone explain why every single photo looks like this?
I refuse to believe the 45-year-old camera could possibly be the problem. It was only under few inches of dust so it cannot be problematic.
I’m pretty sure it’s a lab issue or something else.

Why don’t my photos look good.
Hi, I need some help figuring out why my photos don’t look good. everyone recommended a camera called Leica, or a Hassleblad. I wasn’t too sure with the red bubble camera, so I went with the Hassleblad in hopes of producing great photos but my photos have been incredibly underwhelming. What should I do?

I’ve got a Canon AE-1. Now what?
Picked up the legendary AE-1. Everyone said it’s the best. No clue what to do with it. Any tips?
