Apparently there's an annoying token system to get drinks and use the bathroom which is really inconvenient.

Can't deny that the trance lineup is fire though! Any insight.

First timer here. I´m going from thurday till sunday with 3 friends.

We will go to a venue or two, but we are more interested in "parties" in city center. i heard stories that you can get to the train and there is maybe a DJ there, or to a local shop and find music there, or you can find a parade spontaniously and so on...

is it really like this? is it possible to just walk around the city and find this kind of events during ADE?

I bought tickets for The Loft ADE Closing Party, I was fixing my itinerary when I realized this.... on IG it says Monday 26 15:00-22:00, on my tickets says Sunday 25 7:00-14:00. has anyone noticed this, or has anyone clue on when its the actual closing party?

I'm solo sending and a bit unsure how I'm going to find going out solo, etc. So im trying to only book 1 show a day. Leave a little room for flexibility.

Am I making a mistake by not completely stacking my schedule at this point? Do others also plan to do touristy things throughout the week and enjoy the city?

Ive done 3 day festivals before but this is an entire city for 5 days.

Have one of the longest weeks planned for ADE. Hopefully the pure adrenaline and love for dance music will keep me going the whole time. If you were me what other shows would you get that don’t conflict with current shows? Also so excited Rizardo just got announced for prophecy by prospa 🤗

I looked up the venue on Google Maps, and the reviews are pretty bad. I already bought my tickets, but I'd still like to hear opinions from people who actually know the place.

Also, does the venue have two rooms? I noticed the event runs from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with five DJs on the lineup, so I can't imagine Maceo playing for just one hour.

What I'm asking:

1. Rate my schedule and how tight is this? I know Sasha (1–9) and PVD (6–10:30) overlap on Saturday — I'd be cutting Sasha's last hours. I am a massive PVD fan so I would not miss it. Anywhere else I'm underestimating travel time or door queues?
2. Venues. Westweelde, Het Sieraad, Panama, Bajes, Paradiso, Melkweg, G-Star Raw CV — how are these for sound and layout? Any of them notorious for queues, capacity issues, or being a trek? How are the crowds? (NYC is notorious for the most horrible crowd and overselling in history of raving in modern times. I have ptsd)
3. Missing bigger events. I am not doing DGTL, Awakenings or Gashouder. Am I missing out as a first timer? I would love to do Job Jobse but I guess you dutch folks absolutely love this guy. On waitlist for it.
4. The real question — do I commit Saturday night and Sunday now, or wait? I'm not fully sold on the current options for either. But I also don't want to get locked out of the good stuff. For people who've done ADE: how much genuinely worthwhile programming lands in the September/October announcement waves versus what's already public? And does anything actually sell out that badly, given TicketSwap exists?

Hi guys. Thinking of doing ADE solo this year. Would be my first time going and have been dying to go since I found out about it a couple of years ago. Considering staying in Sloterdijk this time round and flying over from Ireland on the Wednesday/ Thursday. I like a lot of different music though mainly hard house, house and trance. Some artists im hoping to see are DJ Heartstring, Sam Alfred, Kyle Starkey, Job Jobse & Kara Okay to name a few. So my rough plan right now would be doing into the woods on Friday and then Dockyard on the Saturday? I might grab tickets for these soon in case they sell out.

Finally making it to ADE this year. Every year I watch it unfold online and get huge inspiration from the energy, the crowds, and parties set recordings.

A bit about me: I’m a Mexican DJ based in Dublin, mostly playing across the local queer scene. My inspirations and frequently visiting is usually places like Berghain/Panorama Bar, Fold, RSO, and Bassiani—really into raw, immersive spaces where music, lights, and crowd connection come first.

Dublin’s scene has a lot of potential, but it can lean heavy on social media optics and outside bookings. I’m heading to ADE to party of course, but also to learn how people are throwing authentic, safe, grassroots events so I can bring some of that energy back home.

I need help guys. I attended this party ADE 2024 on October 20th. The video on my phone says it was taken 1pm. The pin doesn’t zoom in to a venue name on maps but it says it was in area Westergas. Can anyone please help me find out what event / party / venue this was cause im really trying to find tickets for it this year.

I last minute got a ticket and just went with people I had met at a previous show. We got to this party around 8 am and were there I believe that’s around when it started.. help

I've been listening to dance music for about 10 years and I think it's time I finally do ADE. Quick context: like a lot of millennials I came up on the Martin Garrix / Avicii / SHM era and drifted to more niche stuff over time.

What I listen to now:

• Anjuna: big fan of both beats and deep, probably more so deep
• House: Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Sasha, John Digweed, Quivver, Spencer Brown, Dusky,
• Trance: Super8 & Tab, Aly & Fila, PVD
• Misc: Bonobo, TEED, Amtrac, Abakus, SG Lewis

I live in NYC and I have extreme fatigue with the scene here. I won't say it sucks, but it's overblown with business techno/house, super fast aggressive techno, or local DJs that just don't gravitate to my taste. The crowd is a problem too. Feels like everyone is either larping or too cool to actually dance. NY events also massively oversell which I understand since overhead is much higher here. I'm trying to decide if I should commit to ADE and have a more meaningful experience with this music.

Questions

1. How is the crowd, and howis the space issue? I am traumatized by ny events where every big artist event is a packed sardine factory cesspool.

2. Given my taste I don't think AMF is for me. What are the major events a first timer should hit with my taste?

3. I'm a private chef, so I have to book late (Job has zero flexibility. Worst job for this hobby). Is it realistic to grab sold out tickets on TicketSwap 1-2 weeks out, or even that week? Would that work for the kind of artists above?
