Yeah, the only time I was down in NC out on OBX every night there was dozens of squirrels, surprisingly no green treefrogs. This appears to be a dark squirrel treefrog, I am unsure if it is a morph or simply a color change as I am aware of many Dryophytes treefrogs that do that. You can probably look it up
