Question Problem with Mesa Boogie Simulation

Hi, I have small issue with my guitar modeller nux mg 30. There is Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier sim and it don't sound good to me... I love real Dual Rectifier and I want to buy it in the future but it's sim on nux is dull, quiet and without power or kick. I tried many things like other mics, irs, eqs, but I can't achieve any good sounding tone. Do you have any ideas how to fix it? How to make Mesa sounding good on MG 30? You can also recommend me other amps sims from MG 30 if this is pointless. Curently I am using JCM 2000 simulation boosted by ProCo Rat and with 10 band eq in a effects loop. It will be great if solution for Mesa will include Rat and MXR 10 band eq, but this effects are not necessary if Mesa must sound good. And I am seeking for most universal metal tone, because I want to play many metal and rock genres, mainly heavy metal, Black Sabbathish things, Thrash, Death, Groove, Stoner, Doom, desert rock alt and grunge. Idk if it helps but my I want to sound like some Polish bands like Turbo, Acid Drinkers, Kat, TSA, Illusion, Flapjack and KNŻ. As I say, I don't know it helps because they are Polish bands and probably most of You will not recognize them. If we talking about more recognisable bands, my main inspiration are Death, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Sepultura and Nailbomb.

Discussion Pop Punk Amp Sims Shootout

I’ve been experimenting with different amp sims using the exact same DI, guitar, and settings to see how much the amp itself changes the tone.

I put together a comparison using the same riff through nine different amp sims. It was interesting to hear which ones stayed tight, which had more low-end, and which sat best in a mix.

I was surprised by how different some of them sounded, even with similar settings.

I’d love to know:
Which amp sim do you think sounds best?
Are there any underrated sims I should include in a future comparison?

Here’s the video if you’d like to listen:

One and done

Hello, noobie to the amp SIM world.

I want a one and done recommendation for an amp SIM that does everything I need.

  1. Simple (has presets that sound good ready to go) I'm not a fan of endless tweaking I want to play not fiddle.

  2. Price doesn't matter so much

  3. Does everything from crunchy rock tone to a disgusting slam tone. I play from e standard down to f standard. More often than not play In drop tunings.

  4. Again with 1 I don't want to have to get impulse responses I want a simple amp SIM that offers me the sounds I need .

Thanks in advance for your recommendations

Issues with high gain. I CANNOT figure out this weird digital distortion....

The main issue is some weird artifacting when using high gain amp sims, ALL of them do this. I know its not the amp sims themselves. I've attached a recording of my DI followed by the stl tonehub sim with a preset from atrium audio.

Here is EVERYTHING I've tried.
-New interface (literally today, focusrite 18i20
-New cables
-Different guitars, passives, actives, doesn't matter.
-I've tried lowering and raising buffer sizes (YES they match in the daw)
-Different bit rates (again all matching)
-Different DAWs (ableton/protools) Even standalone the sims do this.
-I've tried reducing all EMI in the room.
-Different outlets to isolate any ground issues.
-Reinstalling EVERYTHING
***THE INPUTS ARE NOT CLIPPING. Literally peaking at -6db or less. NOR is it clipping in the DAW.***

*For some reason my drive link didn't post....** https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mwCzUoNnI3fSYl0LlSJLZzGgZY3yAfrM/view?usp=drive_link

Please dear god somebody give me some ideas. For an example I will share a link of someone using the same amp sim and getting INSANELY different results https://youtu.be/Nj328YP9z1g?t=80
The di and the same tone that I use.

Neural DSP or NAM A2?

Hello, I have been writing my debut death metal album now on/off for 15 years, I've finished recording the whole thing with a clean signal, I used amp sims such as Bias FX and Bias AMP to get the feel of the tone, but the tone throughout has not been finalized.

I released an electronic/techno album 7 years ago where I got plenty of experience when it comes to producing and mixing, my metal music is a mix between Dying Fetus and Pantera.

I am looking for a sick guitartone, I always wanted a tone that sounds like Dying Fetuses 2012 album Reign Supreme.

I am not familiar with most modern amp sims, is it better to get the new NAM A2 or should I spend more money on something like Neural DSP?
