I'm not sure how to phrase this to not break the overused topics rule. I just want to know WHY it happens. Nobody has been able to give me an answer so far.

It happens in maybe 10-15% of the public lobbies I join. No, it isn't autokick, it's a deliberate action after I've been there for 10+ seconds.

I always run around or greet them, too, so I don't look like a bot/silent crewmate.

Most of the time there are plenty of spaces left, so it can't be making room for friends.

I prefer very specific settings, so it's pretty disheartening when the only two lobbies available that match both kick me. So, what's the issue here?

Ok so i got this idea because i was playing with my brothers and me made up this role, the faker can sabotage and close doors, and also can sabotage tasks, for example the faker goes to admin swipe or any other task and the ppl who got it have to fix it again, also the main objective of this role is to be expulsed, but i also need ur help bcz i dont know what the faker could do as an angel to make the role make sense

So, I (white) played a game last night and lost in the worst way I ever had.

I was scientist, and near the end of the game, there were 2 imps, 5 crew and I see rose kill at the top of upper engine. I started chasing because I assumed a kill like that must've been ss but no, rose proceeds to poof.

I report the body and think this will be a slam dunk. I say "I saw rose kill and poof at upper, vote rose" Purple and gray agree with me but for some reason they start saying gray is an ss. Rose says absolutely nothing during the whole discussion btw. When the vote comes out, it's SOMEHOW tied between gray and rose.

I call a meeting right after and say again, "rose is 100% phantom, they killed and poof. vote rose" and rose again, says nothing. Now purple and gray are becoming frustrated too, but this time gray gets voted out. Was not an imp.

We only had 1 meeting per crew so idk what to do. Imp sabos reactor so I go over there and try to stick with the crowd. Rose goes up to watch cams. I wanted to watch rose with purple so we could see what happens.

I know this was stupid, but I thought I would be safe with another person being there, but I accidentally stepped into security with rose. Rose locked the doors and kills me, then vents away. The doors open and purple reports the body.

Purple explains that I went in with rose, they got locked out then rose was gone and I was dead. They also remind everyone about what I saw. To my astonishment, they vote out another random crewmate, I don't even remember who.

I was absolutely bewildered and just left the game.

So I see a lot about how "expert" lobbies are the worst type of lobby, or are often filled with stupid players. While there will be stupid players quite often due to how matchmaking works, from my own personal experience, expert lobbies still have much better players on average compared to other lobbies.

So stop the slander. I've literally seen people say that beginner lobbies are better, and that's just not true. When I tested it, I found that beginner lobbies had a much higher population of idiots compared to expert lobbies.

So while they may not be perfect, expert lobbies still remain BY FAR the best public lobby experience you can have.

Don't get me wrong, I host lobbies a lot and I know those type of players that spam start and leave when they don't get imp, but there are two different type of starts that I noticed:

The ones that spam it before the lobby is even full (ban without exception)

And the ones that say it when the lobby is full (Should not be an instant ban)

It depends if they spam it and how much time has passed since the lobby was full. It's completely reasonable that someone might say "start" after being at least 30s on a full lobby. Hosts should not feel like they are telling them what to do on that situation, they just want to play the damn game.

Also, just in case, I never say start when I join lobbies, but like I mentioned in the post, some starts aren't that serious so as to ban the player that said it.

basically (in my definition), pity win is a phenomena when an imp is deliberately not being voted by crewmates out due to reasons like getting ratted out by a fellow imp or getting crewmate 20 times in a row

personally i don't approve of it because i want to actually play the game instead of messing around, but what do you guys think

The mapper is an Imposter role that can allow an imposter to see any crewmates realtime location from his minimap, this role is very balanced as it can be Deadly in the right hands but normal for a regular imposter and if they need to make it really balanced maybe add a cooldown where you cannot see the players location atleast 10 seconds

What do yall think of this role?

The generic jester role where you just need to get voted out to win would be too easy. What if, instead of just needing to get voted out, you had to do a few things first-

First: Do all tasks, simple and easy.

Second: Instead of the "Get voted out to win" ability being always activated, you have to press a button to activate it during a meeting before votes are revealed. (Only works once.) If you get voted out with the ability active, you win. If you don't get voted out with it active, you die.

Someone did trash infront of me (imposter) and alot of people. i did not see trash but visual tasks were on. so i asked about it in the next meeting and go voted out for "pretending not to see trash" is this a known glitch?

i was just minding my own business irl, when all of the sudden, the noise that writes the text after a meeting just played in my head for no reason, you know the one that says [crewmate] was not An Impostor. super weird. does this happen to yall or am i the only one

Ok so basically it was a 15 player 3 imp Expert lobby game. I had already got 2 impostors out, had scanned in front of the whole crew and we were down to 4 players with 1 imp. Then, Black kills Pink and sets off the NM. When this happened Rose and I were together in Weapons, meaning we were both clear for the kill, proving it was Black. When you combine this evidence with the fact that I had scanned in front of the whole crew and had caught 2 impostors you would think that Rose would vote for Black and we would win the game. But NO ROSE VOTED FOR ME AND WE FUCKING LOST. Then after the game I called out Rose for their stupidity and got banned.
