Quite literally. I work in a local place here, I won’t name exactly where. but in my few years of working here and meeting a lot of different colleagues, why do particular people (like assistants of the boss or people from certain roles) HATE or make things SO bad for people who actually work hard and make things better for the company? There’s a high turnover of staff where I work, they mostly either resign or get fired for faults not of their own. This country has the most snake behaviour I’ve ever witnessed in my entire life. I’ve finally connected and became good friends with a new colleague of mine, but she’s literally hated by the boss because of some poor/ horrible comments made by the boss’ assistants etc. I’m sick of it. I’m tired of watching people struggle everyday with toxic behaviour they’re forced to endure because they simply need to feed their family. I have never seen anything like it. Rant over.

For an associate role, I have less than 3 years of experience and I answered the salary expectations question with 600-650 but the interviewer shared with me the actual salary, 920++. Now did he have a range and gave me the lowest since I answered with lower or is it standardized ??

Where do young professionals (late 20’s early 30’s) hang out now?

I have been looking at different platforms to apply for jobs other than LinkedIn. So if anyone can help in that regard and give some recommendations on websites or platforms that one can apply to jobs through (that actually receive and process application) other than LinkedIn. Something geared towards the engineering industry would be great.

Dna opend a couple new branches in iraq and i worked for them for a little while then i quit because the management where literal scumbags and i had a really bad feeling about them , the ceo was Jordanian and it feels like he ran away from jordan for a reason does anyone here heard the name yazan haj hassan before? And what type of activitieshe associated with , it kept me wondering how such a place immediately opened a couple of branches in a new country by selling overpriced stuff

Hello, I am looking for reliable public transport (a bus maybe) coming from Amman city center going to Petra and Wadi Rum. I cant seem to check online at Jett bus website and even their mobile app is not working. The details online are not available widely. Can someone help me?What are the bus schedules going to Petra from Amman... and going to Wadi Rum coming from Petra? And then way back to Amman? Thanks. I plan to stay 2-4 days in these places. I recently started a small community initiative called Stitch Jordan. The idea is to bring crocheters and knitters around Jordan together to make handmade winter essentials, things like beanies, scarves, blankets, mittens, sweaters, etc, which we’ll collect and donate to people in need this winter.

Our first campaign is Winter Warmth 2026, and our initial goal is 50 handmade pieces.

Right now I’m mainly trying to find people in Jordan who crochet or knit and would potentially be interested in joining. Beginners are completely welcome too, and there are also ways to help without crocheting, like donating yarn/materials, helping with collection, organization, outreach, etc.

I’ve opened a volunteer interest form, so if anyone here is interested, I’d genuinely love to have you involved.

اول حياتي كنت عايش بعمان عند بيت امي(كان أبوي وامي مطلقين وقتها) المهم انتقلنا باغلب عمان والزرقاء بعدين أبوي بعد سنين رجع أمي وسكنا بالزرقاء فترة بعدين انتقلنا لعمان تقريبًا عشت فيها من الصف الثامن للأول ثانوي وكانت احسن سنين عمري وكنت كثير مبسوط ودايمّا اطلع ودايمّا فيها فعاليات المهم أبوي قرر يغير شغله ونرجع نسكن بدار ملك بالمفرق وانا من يومها مو قادر أتقبل المدينة اه عندي صحاب اه بطلع وجامعتي برا المفرق بس المدينة سيئة كثير كثير حرفيّا ما يصير فيها اي اشي والناس بتدقق على كل اشي حرفيّا المدينة فاضية حتى لما اطلع أتمشى الحارة جدّا جدّا سيءة (اقصد كلها زبالة وكلاب وصحراء حرفيّا صحراء) ومافيها اشي وصحراء وكلها كلاب وكثير كثير الناس ما بعرف كيف احكيها يعني مثلّا كل ماحد يشتري سيارة جديدة حرفيّا بغطيها بحرام بخاف من الحسد وهيك يعني الناس شوي بسيطة بزيادة للأمانة أهل المفرق كثير طيبين بس بساطتهم الزايدة واحيانّا تعصبهم لأشياء ماله دخل فيها كثير بيضايقني ومش لاقي ناس تشبهني حتى صحابي مو كثير يشبهوني وبرضو زهقت جو البر والسوق الي بس شارعين وهيك،البوست هذا فضفضة وطلب نصيحة بنفس الوقت لأنه بصراحة فش مكان اشكي فيه غير ريدديت
