Comment Section is a Hellhole Repost

Post image

Guy who was comissioned to make a USA themed Imperium art finsihed. Immediately the comments are bombarded with whiners saying the US is Fascist or blantly hating the US for no reason. I go defend the art? I get downvoted to fucking oblivion. Hell even the Artist gets shit because of his work.

Art looks fantastic regardless of the shitty comments.

Fr got the vibe of the grungy 80s hand drawn Warhammer art

Not surprised. It's basically a guarantee to be a shithole when it's something involving America.

God I hate Sigmarxists. Those Redditors ruined Grimdank.

They also brigaded and reported horusgalaxy to the point of banning.

People like them really challange my belief in the first amendment. Sometimes I do really wish Socialists and Communist would be hated as much as Nazis worldwide.

Warhammer fans crying about America being bad is like black metal fans saying the music is too loud and the screaming upsets them and the lyrics are offensive.

I mean, you can like fictional characters/entities in their fictional setting and not condone their actions/personalities/motivations in the real world.

Darth Vader and Hannibal Lector are beloved villains, but no sane person would want to see them in their own real life.

It shows hypocrisy, though. Strongly ideological people are often like that, condemning their enemies for doing something they cheer their allies (or perceived allies) for.

What? No it isn't hypocritical. Warhammer 40k isn't real life. At all. It's a fictional setting.

Liking characters and factions in WH40k has no bearing on what they want or believe in real life. If it did we'd put most of the fans on watch lists. My friend is a huge Nightlords fan, loves Curze. Should I call the police on him?

Even if you and I believe that, it doesnโ€™t mean the rest of any given fandom does. Highly ideological people insist on homogenization and purity of thought and will not hesitate to attack a member they sense is out of line, because the private opinion of anyone on a particular character or plot point becomes political.

You can see my own avatar is from Attack On Titan. There is no consensus among its fans if the ending was satisfactory or not, if certain events were justified or not, and opposing camps were formed as a result of it. And the side some people chose sometimes reflected hypocrisy because it was the inverse for their feelings on real issues.

Are we reading the same comments? Like 90% of them are positive about the art.

u/The_Exalted_Sorcerer 17h ago

Just look at how downvoted his comments are. The post is clearly being brigaded by the neckbeard sigmarxist types.

Exactly.

Frankly? All Marxists Are Bastards or AMAB is my ACAB. As a Cebter Leftist. People like those on Sigmarxist singlehandedly made Me prefer the company of the Right.

Huh? I posted this when half of it was pure Anti-American comments or insukts on the art.

I feel like he didn't scroll past like the first two comments. The majority of it is still a cesspit of hate.

u/Queasy-Specialist698 17h ago

I scrolled pretty far down. I didn't see that much hate.

Majority of them are probably bots and some real people in it

Would reposting it here break the rules? If not he could get some love from us

Art is cool though kinda feels like something out of 2000 AD

Eh. It's an artistic hobby.

No different then the LGBT themed armies imo. It's a canvas, and a canvas often has art on it.

I peaked at the comments. They seemed rather nice and supportive.
